Maree Herath Director
Harvest principal founder Maree Herath is a recruitment and HR specialist who used her 15 years with some of APACs leading brands (Morgan & Banks, Hudson, Talent2) to build her expertise with corporate clients based in Australia and internationally. Over time Maree built solid, trusted relationships with organisations and is known for her dedication in hunting specialised talent – mainly for technical/specialist or executive roles. With tertiary qualifications in Science and Business, Maree has worked in Melbourne, Perth, Hong Kong and now Geelong, with a majority of clients in the oil and gas, trading, logistics, construction, engineering and manufacturing sectors. Maree established Harvest with a firm desire to showcase best practice in HR and Recruitment – spreading success and goodwill to companies that choose to work with the best, because they want to be the best.
Meredith is based in our Geelong Office and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as a qualified Careers Counsellor and Trainer. Meredith is passionate about helping people find their place in the world of work, understand their true value and support them with strategies to grow from wherever they are to wherever they want to go!
Rebecca Johnston Principal Consultant
Rebecca is a passionate, career Recruiter with 10 years’ experience across several disciplines including Accounting, Finance, Banking, Marketing and Communications, IT, Digital and Business Support. Rebecca is from the UK and moved to Melbourne in 2013 with her family and re-located to Ocean Grove in 2016.
Rebecca’s recruitment experience spans Europe and Australia across both the public and private sectors. After starting her career in Recruitment in Germany as an internal Recruiter for a global brand, she then moved to London working with public sector clients. Next came a specialisation in Accounting and Finance positions in the North of England. After emigrating to Australia, Rebecca joined Talent2 and worked in the Marketing and Communications, Finance and Major Clients teams covering a wide range of executive positions. Rebecca is now excited to be working with Harvest Recruitment working with a diverse client base across the Geelong region.
Rebecca is passionate about her work and making sure she provides a comprehensive service to her clients and candidates. She is committed to client and candidate care and making sure the recruitment process is as transparent and efficient as possible for both parties. Ashleigh Durham HR & Recruitment Administrator
With a Diploma in Human Resource Management, Ashleigh brings seven years in HR administrative support in the recruitment industry. She has seven years in the sector and has been accustomed to being the sole administrator responsible for providing coordination, administration and office management support for a team of 11 executive recruitment consultants. Ashleigh will play a key role in the recruitment of the General Office Administrator and assists with responding to candidate queries, CV Formatting, arranging interviews, preparing employment contracts for temp employees as well as various administrative duties.
Amy Bily Recruitment Coordinator
Amy was born and raised in Geelong, she has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology) and Bachelor of Criminology. Currently she is undertaking her Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management.
Amy has worked for the Australian Bureau of Statistics as an interviewer. During this time she developed a wide range of knowledge on all industry sectors, particularly in finance and retail. Key responsibilities included data collection, customer service, geographical coding and sourcing businesses.
Amy joined Harvest Recruitment as a HR Administration intern and after finalization of her internship became a Recruitment Coordinator. Amy plays a key function in researching and sourcing potential candidates, performing reference checks, interviews and various other tasks required by recruitment consultants.
