Mental Health First Aid Training – Workshop 2 day
Mental Health First aid Training
Mental Health support should be an ongoing focus of every workplace. The benefits of this supportive approach can be seen at an individual, organisational and financial level. Serious Mental Health issues cost Australian Businesses $10.9 billion every year in absenteeism, reduced productivity, and compensation claims.
Australian statistics indicate that one in five people have a diagnosed mental illness. An even greater number of people live day to day with the challenges of a variety of Mental Health issues. Completing a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course is invaluable.
Mental Health First Aid strategies are taught in evidence-based training courses authored by Mental Health First Aid Australia and delivered by accredited MHFA instructors within thirteen different countries. The course can be conducted at the workplace or a suitable alternative venue can be arranged.
After completing the two day MHFA course and online assessment, participants can become accredited Mental Health First Aiders.
