About the Organisation
This organisation is an established community services provider, highly recognised as part of the fabric of Geelong with an established RTO and reputable provider of accredited vocational education, short courses and micro credential training to the Victorian South West region. As the organisation seeks to hone and leverage it’s offering, we seek a Skills and Pathways Manager to join its management team.
About the Role
Internally, the role will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of staff, systems, programs and resources, including the oversight of Case Workers assigned to programs and clients. The role will develop, monitor and deliver program budgets and ensure all programs and training are delivered to a high quality and standard, meeting funding body contracts, regulations and relevant legislation in addition to meeting client needs and satisfaction. Externally, the role will have a strong stakeholder focus. Using previous experience in education, employment or community services and tapping into stakeholders the Skills and Pathway Manager will seek out opportunities to develop new programs, build pathways and opportunities to training and employment and utilise existing learner resources to develop new products and services. Your connections and further enquiry will see you identify, tender and apply for new funding and/or resources.
You bring a tertiary qualification and/or extensive experience within RTOs, employment or community services. The ability to balance strategic thinking, operational delivery and stakeholder management will be key. Technical skills in MS Office, finance and budget management are required and you will possess entrepreneurial, organisational, project management and administrative skills; a high attention to detail while able to prioritise and meet deadlines and deliverables. A strong relationship builder, you demonstrate excellent people and performance management skills and bring innate qualities of integrity, professionalism, accountability and transparency to the role.
