About the Organisation
This organisation is an established community services provider, highly recognised as part of the fabric of Geelong with an established RTO and reputable provider of accredited vocational education, short courses and micro credential training to the Barwon region. As the organisation seeks to hone and leverage it’s offering, we seek an RTO Manager to join its management team.
About the Role
This role reports to the Education and Programs Manager and is responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of training and programs according to training package rules, funding body contracts, and regulator standards for RTO’s. Specifically, the role will oversee and ensure compliance (including contractual reporting) of all RTO programs and courses to maintain its registered RTO status. In addition, the RTO Manager will develop, monitor and deliver program budgets, oversee training delivery, administration and compliance functions – developing a collaborative, inclusive team culture and ensuring high quality service, responsiveness and timely resolution to student enquiries is achieved. Further, the RTO manager will seek opportunities to further develop programs, review and improve training programs, operational processes and activities.
You bring a relevant tertiary qualification and a current Cert IV in Training and Assessment with proven experience working in and delivering outcomes for RTOs or within an allied education environment. The ability to balance strategic thinking with continuous improvement is key. Technical skills in MS Office, finance and budget management are required and you will possess organisational, project management and administrative skills; a high attention to detail while able to prioritise deadlines and deliverables. With a solutions mindset, you can creatively problem solve an issue to ensure compliance. You also demonstrate excellent people and performance management skills and bring innate qualities of integrity, professionalism, accountability and transparency to the role.
