Our client is seeking a hotel manager who can deliver & maintain an exceptional customer experience that is of a consistently high service standard. Having a strong interest in food service will see you excel in this position. As will the ability to lead a team and be able to pass knowledge and skills onto other staff.
Ideally the successful candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, be motivated, self driven and understand the dynamics of a country pub.
Attributes and skills will include:
- Hands on day to day operations of the venue
- Leading and managing a team of approx. 15
- Operational and organisational procedures for across the venue
- Cost control
- Effective communication and team work with kitchen
- Venue presentation and maintenance
- Ensure compliance of hotel operations according to the hotel policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
- Experience in sales and marketing of hotel, maintaining high levels of occupancy
- Strong work ethic and able to perform well under pressure
- Demonstrated management skills and have proven experience in leading and engaging a driven team to provide excellent customer service
- Operational knowledge and experience in all hotel departments
- Ability to work closely with Accounts, directly reporting to Hotel General Manager on a weekly basis
- Detail oriented and good time management
- Functions & Events &/or live entertainment knowledge an advantage
