Barwon Health Foundation is gearing up for a huge events season — and we’re looking for an energetic, community‑minded events professional to bring its flagship fundraising events to life. About the Role
This 8‑month contract is all about leading the front‑end delivery of the Foundation’s major fundraising events — including Run 4 Geelong, Catwalk4Cancer, and early planning input into next year’s Geelong’s Longest Lunch.
You’ll work closely with event partners, sponsors, suppliers and community groups to activate high‑quality, high‑energy events that drive participation, fundraising and community connection. This is a hands‑on, outward‑facing role where your creativity, relationship‑building and event leadership will directly shape supporter experience and fundraising outcomes.
Your focus will be on:

  • Front‑end event activation and stakeholder engagement
  • Driving registrations, participation and peer‑to‑peer fundraising
  • Delivering exceptional supporter and attendee experiences
  • Representing the Foundation across the community with warmth and confidence

About You
You’re an experienced events professional who loves being out in the community, building momentum and bringing people together. You’re organised, proactive and commercially aware, with the ability to manage multiple moving parts while keeping the supporter experience front and centre.
You bring:

  • Experience delivering large‑scale or high‑profile events
  • Strong stakeholder and partner engagement skills
  • A warm, confident presence in community and corporate settings
  • Creativity, initiative and a passion for meaningful impact
  • Calmness under pressure and a commitment to excellence
