Talent Recruitment
This is our specialist/executive recruitment team led by Sean Walsh. We are pleased to advise Chantale White has just joined this division. Placements for the last three months included Reception, Customer Service and Administrative staff across the manufacturing and civil contracting industries, plus very difficult to fill specialist/executive roles such as:
- A Legal Counsel and Policy Officer in the Public Sector,
- An Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer in a major hazard facility, and
- An Executive Officer in the Community Sector
Industrial
Harvest Industrial, represented by Amy Cotton, Associate Consultant, place supervisors, trades and operators both permanently and through labour hire.
Last quarter we worked on a major project, the volume recruitment assignment of full time, process operators for a major hazard facility. A job of choice by process operators within and outside of our region. We were inundated with over 250 candidates and our brief, for the first time, was extremely broad from our client. We successfully brought this to a close with seven key hires at our client’s site. We also continued to place labour hire process workers for companies in manufacturing and agricultural sector.
Harvest Placements Summary for April – June 2019
Overall we placed 27 roles in the June quarter, 17 in our Industrial division and 10 in Talent Recruitment:
Careers
Harvest continues to generate significant interest from job-seekers who sign up for multiple packages across career coaching, resume writing, responding to selection criteria, LinkedIn profiles, interview or assessment centre coaching.
We also were privileged to undertake a pro-bono piece of work for the Smith Family’s “Work Inspiration” workshop with Northern Bay College
HR & People Solutions
Director, Maree Herath and Office Manager, Ashleigh Durham continue to drive this part of our business, whether it’s organising the Geelong HR Roundtable or responding to HR needs of the market.
Most recently we gained enquiries for HR compliance (for fast growing businesses), Bullying and Harassment Workshops and Leadership Programs all delivered by our HR partners.
New team member, Chantale White, with her HR credentials will also be assisting in the delivery of HR projects.
On the back of our very successful HR Roundtable on Mental Health in the Workplace with guest presenters from WorkSafe and Coulter Roache, we will soon be adding an HR partner to our team with specific expertise in this space.
Stay tuned!
