Engineering Project Manager – Salary: $200,000 – $250,000. A Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Engineering Science, majoring in Project Management and a PMP this Senior Project Manager brings more than 20 years experience safely delivering metals, mining and infrastructure projects. With an innate ability to engage key project stakeholders and build effective teams his experience spans the project life cycle from conception to completion from feasibility studies, planning, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of major assets. He has successfully overseen diverse teams of Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers and Designers for projects from $30million powerstation shutdowns to $50m Greenfield Test Facilities for the mining sector and delivered the civil and buildings component for Adelaide’s Desalination Project (total value $1billion). Engineer – Salary on Request. With eight years experience this Engineer brings a strong grounding in metals projects. His scope of work includes; Delivery of EPCM projects for client from pre feasibility through to commissioning and handover; Writing of technical standards and specifications for procurement of supply mechanical systems and contract services; Design of mechanical and piping systems; Process and instrument design (PFD & PID); Development of engineering solutions for technical issues during design and commissioning; Understanding and working with environmental, safety and hazard identification metrics including project risk management; Contract supervision, writing of site instructions, responding to technical queries, and site quality inspection (factory acceptance testing and inspection test planning), and Working with multidiscipline groups to achieve successful project outcomes. Lead Designer – Salary negotiable. With an Associate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering this gentleman has been the Lead Designer within heavy manufacturing and engineering consultancies to the heavy manufacturing industry for more than 20 years. While his software of choice is AutoCAD and Inventor, our candidates spends more time preparing, planning and overseeing design and construction projects. Specific responsibilities include: writing detailed work scopes for both manufacture and equipment installation; writing detailed SWI’s/JSA’s for maintenance and project work; developing installation work method statements; pre-inspection of offsite works ensuring compliance with relevant standards, material specifications through certifications, welder pre-qualifications are adhered to; working with weld Inspectors to develop practical weld procedures for the application; ensuring works documentation is formatted for lodgment into the plant ISO Doc system and engaging external services for works eg – surveyors, weld inspectors, weld inspection services. Contracts/Commercial Manager – Commercial Construction/EPCM – Salary: Minimum $250,000 plus benefits. Having recently relocated back to Melbourne from Jakarta, this candidate brings a Degree in Construction Management and a Masters in Business with a Property Major. He brings over 20 years experience in the building and construction sector rising from Contract Administrator to Contracts and Commercial Manager. His expertise comes in Project Control Management across Cost, Commercial and Contract Management with Major Developers and First tier construction and mining contractors. Structural/Finishes Foreman – $120,000 With a degree in Construction Management and 10 years in industry, this candidate has a proven track record of delivering commercial, warehouse and institutional projects valued between $500,000 and $10million. He brings strengths in planning, letting schedules, cost reporting, forecasting and delivery. He will always plan to bring a project in one month ahead of schedule so there are “no surprises”. With strong communication skills – with his team, subcontractors and the client and keeping all on board. IT Engineer – Salary $55,000 negotiable. With four years IT industry experience this candidate qualified with a Bachelor of Information Technology and is a Certified Checkpoint Security Administrator (CCSA) R76, partial completion of CCNA and currently doing his MCSA this candidate has worked up to a 2nd level IT Support role prior to joining a major IT company as Technology Consultant. Major projects during this time included: implementing Checkpoint endpoint solution for desktops and laptops for the US, UK in the gas fields; implementing security controls with Linux (Red Hat); and a $350M project to implement new Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP). Here he used Windows Server Administration and Security tools in particular Symantec for Linux and Windows. As a Technology Consultant his main strength was in incident and change management (VMware) and Microsoft Sharepoint as well as Altiris for reimaging. Preference for Geelong.
Assistant Conveyancer – Salary $40,000. With 5 years in the financial services industry to complement her Certificate IV in Financial Services, this candidate already understands the process of a property transfer/refinance from a finance perspective so would quickly become very capable in a conveyancing environment. Currently managing the home loan process for clients from recommending the best solution, assisting with loan applications and performing credit checks, right through to settlement she is able to perform title searches, understands that valuations are a part of a sales or refinancing process. Due to the nature of her current position she is accustomed to following a process whilst adhering to legal regulations.
