Project Manager – Oil and Gas – $130-$150 per hour
With a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from South Africa, a Diploma in Project Management and maintenance services, this candidate commenced her career as a Project Engineer, first in food manufacturing, then rail before gaining her first Project Manager opportunity in 2001 as Project Manager for the “Return to Service” of 3 Power Stations with specific responsibilities for the environmental performance of the power station. After a move to Australia in 2006, she gained a Project Manager role for an engineering company to the Oil and Gas industry and she project managed brownfields projects for Shell Worldwide. Subsequent to this she has worked with offshore marine companies with projects including Port Berthing Capacity Expansion, Mooring Hook Standardisation, Mooring Equipment Supply, Berth Upgrades, Wave Rider Mooring System Design, Study on the affects of seawater corrosion on ropes and chains, and the EPCM of cyclone moorings. Project Manager 3rd Tier Construction/Structural or Finishes Foreman 1st/2nd Tier Construction – $120,000 plus superannuation
With a degree in Construction Management and 10 years in industry, this candidate has a proven track record of delivering commercial, warehouse and institutional projects valued between $500,000 and $10million. He brings strengths in planning, letting schedules, cost reporting, forecasting and delivery. He will always plan to bring a project in one month ahead of schedule so there are “no surprises”. With strong communication skills – with his team, subcontractors and the client and keeping all on board. ICT Professional – $75,000 + superannuation
This candidate brings international experience in developing Windows applications using Visual Basic 6, Visual Basic for Applications, Visual Basic.Net and SQL as well as simple iPhone apps using Objective C. His software knowledge covers Windows XP, Win7 & 8, Server 2012, VB.Net, MS Access, MS Outlook, MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint) – Apple OSX, Xcode, SQlite. In Web and Multimedia he is proficient in ColdFusion, Dreamweaver and Web Server Administration. In addition to his programming and software skills our candidate creates training materials in support of new applications and is proficient in voice, digital, ASDL and Fibre Optic installation and maintenance. He brings a strong customer service orientation and a proven track record of providing excellent ICT and analytical support to both internal staff and external clients. Production/Shutdown Administrator – $30 per hour
This candidate brings vast experience in accounts and administration roles for large companies in the construction and manufacturing sector. She has used SAP to calculate costs by inputting in the workers claims. This required very accurate data entry abilities and a strong analytical focus to detect if something was entered into the system incorrectly. Previously she held a position as a Budget Analyst at Shell Refinery where she was responsible for reporting on the general ledger by reconciling how chemical orders were keyed into the system. Shell was so impressed with her work they promoted her to a role in the accounting team in their head office.
Most recently she has gained extensive shutdown experience and has been responsible for organising online and site inductions, organising the certificates and training documentation of all workers, supporting the company with security checks and safety checks and ensuring all workers checks were up to date throughout the course of the shutdown. Administration Officer – Construction, Consulting or Government – $50,000
This candidate brings 12 years’ experience in a range of administration roles. She is accustomed to following a process with multiple steps and is involved in completing a various range of documentation (tenders, permits, reports). She liaises with the local council to organise permits and access for oversized vehicles. She performs title searches, studies aerial photography for site layouts, produces reports, is involved in inducting new employees into the business, appointment setting for stakeholders in different states and greeting clients. The skills she has gained from her prior experience is the ability to further investigate issues on behalf of a client, proof reading, quoting and general administrative tasks. She feels that she has highly developed communication skills, strong attention to detail; great time management and her previous roles have given her a well rounded administration skill set.
